Why i wanted to become a Teacher?
The desire to become a doctor, then an engineer, and finally a TEACHER. In elementary school, I couldn't decide what I wanted to be in the future or what profession I wanted. In secondary level, specifically second year, there was a teacher who persuaded me to become a teacher. We had the same personalities. She was very entertaining and witty during class discussions. After graduating from high school, We didn't have enough money for tuition, so I applied for a scholarship. I enrolled in college, but I was disappointed because the education program was already full. I enrolled in the BS Environmental Science and Technology program. During my college years, we had these community immersions in the uplands. I noticed that children were not enrolled in school. No writing and no reading. That immersion made me realize that not every child had the opportunity to attend school. I also wanted to be a teacher for this reason. I want to make difference; I want to teach and inspire the children that being poor shouldn't stop them from pursuing their dreams. It's okay to be lost but never lose sight of your goals.
